The Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 : Revival of the Commandments
As peace returns to the Lion Kingdom, the Sins decide to go their separate ways to continue their own individual journeys. Gowther brainwashes Guila into falling in love with him while Diane spends her time as a normal human thanks to Merlin's mini pills that allow her to shrink in size. Diane also slowly regains her past memories, which include her previous encounters with King, and is reunited with Matron, her mother figure, and the giant race. Meanwhile, Ban leaves for the Fairy King's Forest with King and Holy Knight Jericho to continue his duties as he is revealed to be the current Fairy King. Back in Liones, King Bartra's Vision ability shows him a foreshadowing of the impending dangerous Holy War that lies ahead in Camelot.
Under the control of the demon Freudin, Dreyfuss appears with the black mark on his face and helps Hendrickson summon the remaining Ten Commandments from the Demon Clan. As a result, a giant gray demon of Albion appears in Camelot Kingdom, due to the arrival of the demon clan leaders. Meliodas and the group in Lyonesse head to Camelot to defeat Albion. Galland, the Demon King of Truth, also rushes to Camelot to join the action and turns Merlin to stone with his power of the Order. Gowther confronts him and manipulates his memory, giving Elizabeth and the others a chance to survive. Another Albion appears in the Fairy Forest, where it is revealed that Ban has supplied his blood and left the fairies to care for Elaine's body. During the battle against Albion, King regains the trust of his faerie family.
Melascula, the Order of Faith, later resurrects vengeful souls, including Elaine. Ban meets Melascula and Galland. Galland attempts to devour Ban's soul, but the fox Zhivago, Ban's father figure and mentor, sacrifices himself to save Ban. Ban manages to destroy the hearts of Galland and Melascula, but has to retreat due to the state of his party and his inability to continue the fight. Ban and his group happen upon Escanor, the Lion's Sin of Pride, who runs a bar located in a cave. Although Escanor appears gaunt during his encounter with Ban, the dawn causes him to increase in size and strength. With his sacred treasure of the Divine Ax, he defeats Galland and Melascula.
In the Great Battle Festival arc, Fraudrin, the demon who had been controlling Dreyfus' body, reveals that he conspired with Hendrickson's help to resurrect the Demon Clan. As the Demon King of Selflessness, he holds a battle arch where pairs of fighters face each other after he escapes the Pleiades of the Azure Sky Saint Knights group. Fraudrin reveals that Gowther is a former member of the Ten Commandments who has lost his memories and emotions due to his command of selflessness power. It is also revealed that Meliodas was the former leader of the Ten Commandments. As Meliodas tries to fight the Ten Commandments, Estarosa destroys all of his hearts and sends him back to Purgatory.
One month after Meliodas' death, the remaining Ten Orders take over Britannia with the Demon Clan. Fearing for their lives, the citizens push any knights or individuals with powerful souls to the Ten Commandments.
The Sins and Holy Knights struggle to prevent the demon takeover, but with Merlin back in her true form and Meliodas resurrected, they manage to defeat Fraudrin and return Dreyfuss and Hendrickson to normal. However, it turns out that the Commandments, namely Zeldris of Piety, Gloxinia of Tranquility, Drol of Patience, Melascula of Faith, and Estaros of Kindness are still alive and a threat to Britannia. The Sins realize that while they have lost much of their power and cannot handle the remaining Ten Commandments in their current state, they plan to stay together.
