Well, as mentioned above, the series is an adaptation of a manga series. The anime has already covered the first four story arcs—however, there is no need to fret. At the time of writing, 13 volumes have already been published. That means there’s enough source material to be covered. However, one thing to note here is that the first season covered seven volumes.
So, it’s expected that Madhouse will cover the rest of the seven volumes in the second season. If that’s the case, then there isn’t sufficient material to be covered in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 unless Madhouse returns with a shorter season.
