Steam Smythe in Ben Ten
Steam Smith is a villain who first appeared in The Clocktopus. He hates modern technology and always tries to "bring back the past".
Steam Smith is an old, bearded redhead who wears a suit of steampunk armor and maroon pants. His facial hair has a thick mutton cut moustache. Most of his armor is a rust brown color, but other parts are red, as are his pants. Around his armor he wears a dull brown shoulder strap. Tying it together is a belt with a buckle in the shape of an oversized gear. He wears a big chimney hat.
Steam Smith is desperate to get what he wants just to preserve history. He thinks that the future is absurd and believes that the past is the only thing that is comprehensible and comprehensible. He easily executes any plan to get rid of the future and make the past present. He refers to himself as a "gentleman", and he will not kill a woman or a pensioner.
Due to his genial nature, the Steam Smith has a hard time escaping dueling challenges. In reality, however, he has little integrity and cheats in duels where he is challenged.
Steam Smith is a fan of old things. But this drives him crazy and he thinks he is from an ancient time in the past.
In Clocktopus, Steam Smith attacks a pier called Squid City. It was turning into a megaplex and Steam Smith wanted to stop it with his Clocktopus. Steam Smith is soon defeated by Ben in a duel.
In Steam is the Word, Steam Smythe steals a time capsule that Nikola Tesla left behind in Clara Vista. Believing that it is a source of energy, he plans to destroy Silicon Valley with a large ray gun. When he opens the capsule, he is disappointed to find that his treasure is a teddy bear. After Ben blows up his airship, they find him crawling through the wreckage, later declaring that he will rely on his own inventions.
In Toorrow's Today, Steam Smith breaks into Buddy's bungalow to find M.F.B., created by the late Buddy Budansky. This weapon will be found. However, he soon found out that M.F.B. it was for "Mobile Fun Base", and it wasn't a weapon, but a ferris wheel-like mech. Stinkfly knocks him out of the machine and he is forced to retreat.
In Bon Voyage, Steam Smith tries to destroy the SS Pettigrew, believing that the S.S. Manby is a fantastic ship. An omni-enhanced heat blast between the SS Pettigrew and her steam-powered Piranha. His plan is ultimately thwarted when Manby is thrown and destroys him and his Clocktopus.
