Beerus in Dragon ball

Beerus (ビルsu, Birusu) is a god who appears in the fourteenth and fifteenth "Dragon Ball Z" movies as well as "Dragon Ball Super". He is a purple, cat-like creature who is the god of destruction, whose purpose is to maintain balance by destroying planets, civilizations, or external threats that put the development of the universe at risk. Son Goku transforms into Super Saiyan God in a battle with Beerus and fails, although Beerus spares him and the Earth. Later, after answering a challenge from his brother and fellow God of Destruction Chappa, Beerus formed a team consisting of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Buu and a small red man named Monaca. A team of humanoid aliens competing in the Destroyer Tournament. Beerus later formed another team composed of famous warriors from Universe 7 to participate in the Tournament of Power organized by the Supreme God Zeno. From that point on, he oversaw Goku and Vegeta's training on his home planet.
