Zombozo's defining characteristic is his frenzied joy. According to himself, the sound of human agony is "music to [his] ears." He has a penchant for hypnotizing people, though he also takes pleasure in causing trouble through other means. Zombozo is extremely greedy, a trait that causes Acid Breath's physical health to rapidly decline as Zombozos fail to compensate him financially for his grueling work. Despite his many crimes, Zombozo still takes issue with stalking.

At some point, Zombozo became a baker. He was a caterer from 2012 to 2013, and an assistant baker from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, he became a cake decorator and won a regional cake competition. In 2017, he came second in the Cake Baking Championship. Zombozo uses many different trinkets and weapons to hypnotize his victims. These include a gas bomb, a refitted Adrianland ride called the "Hypno Tower", screens, a wristwatch, a machine, a staff, a cane that turns into a mace, a ray gun, eye-like decorations, a ceiling . Mounted spiral that creates the illusion, a handheld hypnodisc, speaker, and rear view mirror. Most of these devices have been destroyed, lost or confiscated.

Zombozo's outfit gives him many uses. His entire outfit can inflate like a balloon, allowing him to easily absorb hits. His gloves are made of rubber, allowing him to touch electricity without harming himself. He could also set off fireworks from his top hat using a remote. His space suit had "parachute pants", which allowed him to slow his descent through the air.
