The story of Hisoka Morōu

Hisoka Morōu (ヒソカ=モロウ, Hisoka Morōu) is a magician and serial killer who combines magic with violence and enjoys fighting those he deems powerful enough to cause sexual arousal. He is cunning, mischievous and narcissistic by nature and only acts in his own interests. In the comics, his sentences often end with the suit symbol. After meeting Gon and his friends during the Hunter Exam, Hisoka becomes interested in them and lets them live so that they can grow into more worthy opponents. Although he is initially positioned as an antagonist due to his love of murder, he occasionally becomes Gon's comrade when it suits his own interests. Hisoka is revealed to be the fourth member of the Phantom Troupe, although he only joins for the chance to fight their leader Chrollo Lucifer. When Chrollo's mind was sealed by Kurapika, he left the team and began to look for a way to break the seal. After the mission was successful, Hisoka died after fighting Chrollo in the Paradise Arena, but was resurrected and began to massacre the Phantom Troupe. Hisoka is currently believed to be aboard the Black Whale, being hunted by the Phantom Troupe and the Xi-Yu and Cha-R mafia families.
