There is a difference between religion and Satan. I hope you're not implying that anime is satanic, but let's look at my answer. This may be due to the ubiquity of demons as bad guys. If the devil exists, Satan must exist. There are also anime that twist this and have Satan or the devil be one of the good guys fighting other demons, like in High School DXD or Ao no Exorcist. Supernatural elements are also included, often allowing for the use of supernatural powers without much explanation. That is, can Rias destroy Hell? She is Satan's sister. There are also the androids from Fullmetal Alchemist, and an anime called The Seven Deadly Sins.
