Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ (Japanese: 機動戦士ガンダムΖΖ, Hepburn: Kidō Senshi Gandamu Daburu Zēta, Mobile Suit Gundam Double Zeta) is the third installment of the long-running Gundam Sunrise series and the first of the series to air during the showa era Japan last TV series . This work is a direct follow-up to "Mobile Suit Z Gundam", directed and written by Tomino Yuyuki. He formed a new team, including character designer Hiroyuki Kitaki, who served as one of Z Gundam's animation directors, and mechanical designers Shi Kobayashi Makoto, Ibuchi Yutaka, and Akidaka Mika Daisuki, a passive video streaming site broadcast by satellite network Animex and various networks around the world in areas such as Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and South Asia, holds the rights to broadcast the series worldwide. Sunrise released the series on home video in 2015 in North America through Right Stuff Inc. The series will be available to stream on June 24, 2022 on Crunchyroll.

"Gundam ZZ" is considered to be a sequel to "Zeta Gundam" and features a mostly new cast. It aired shortly after Zeta Gundam aired and continued to follow Zeta's main narrative, involving Minerva Rao's Regent Jabi Herman Kahn, while also focusing on Captain Bright Noah and the Aga horse ship, and the introduction by Judu Ashtar

Compared to the brooding plot of its predecessor, this "Z Gundam" sequel feels lighter at times, almost funnier. For example, in the second episode, the main character Judou tries to help Yazan Gable by throwing an orange at Ashta Argama. But in the same episode, when Yazan kills the technician Saegusa, Judau attempts to pilot a Zeta Gundam to go after Yazan, but fights very badly in the first battle. The second half of the show features a more serious opening theme song, "Silent Voices," as the tone becomes more solemn.

As a sequel to "Mobile Suit Z Gundam," the drama follows the final episode of "Mobile Suit Z Gundam," once again telling the story of a religious warship of the Anti-Earth United Group (AEUG) to battle Captain Brett Noah's teenage- Recruits a group of buffaloes, led by loud-mouthed but powerful rookie Judu Ashtar, to pilot the mobile squad A Gamma and now returning Zeta Gundams, Gundam MK-IIs, and Hyakushiki with a massive lineup of ZZ Gundams The name stands for Team Gundam. So this became the first of many Gundam series where the Gundam mobile suits regularly fought alongside each other. The Axis Wars culminate in Part Three.

Among the main characters of "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ", Captain Brett Noah and Axis Leader Herman Kahn hold prominent positions in "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ"; Hayato Kobayashi, Kamile Bidan, Fa Yuiri, Wong Lee, Yazan Gable, Mineva Lao Zabi , and children Shinta and Kum also appear in several episodes; The line appeared in the first season but was not in "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ", it also appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ" Several episodes of "Gundam ZZ"; When Tomino was approved to film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Chars Counterattack," Char Aznable's appearance was cancelled. Yoshiyuki Tomino's original plan for Char's return was never revealed, and Tomino himself doesn't remember it. Also, Amuro Rey doesn't appear in the series either, except for the opening scene and the story recap/preview.
