As someone who recently started watching Jujutsu Kaisen and really likes the animation and fight scenes, I keep wondering if it's normal for new viewers to feel confused about the cursed energy system, especially when techniques, domains, innate abilities, and different sorcerer classifications start getting mentioned so quickly, because while I understand the general concept that curses come from negative human emotions, the specifics of how sorcerers manipulate their energy still feel a bit complicated, and I'm not entirely sure whether these rules are supposed to make complete sense from the start or if the show explains them more gradually, and I also find myself curious about the moral themes of the anime since it seems darker than many other series I've seen, with characters having tragic backstories and the world being filled with constant danger, so I'm asking whether my confusion is normal for beginners or if there are certain explanations I should be paying closer attention to, and whether it's typical in this genre for the power system to be a little overwhelming until you've seen enough fights to understand how it works in practice.
