J. Robert Oppenheimer, a physics professor at the University of California, Berkeley, is best known for creating the atomic bomb during WWII as the wartime head of the Los Alamos Laboratory. He famously witnessed the first atomic bomb detonation in New Mexico in 1945 and later quoted the Bhagavad Gita saying "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

This documentary examines Oppenheimer's life, from his early years to his involvement with nuclear physics and his later advocacy for nuclear weapons controls, featuring brand new interviews and insights from those who knew him and those impacted by his legacy.

Dick Tracy [New Blu-ray] Repackaged



Dick Tracy is a 1990 American action crime comedy film based on the 1930s comic strip character of the same name created by Chester Gould. Warren Beatty produced, directed and starred in the film, whose supporting cast includes Al Pacino, Madonna, Glenne Headly and Charlie Korsmo, with appearances by Dustin Hoffman, James Keane, Charles Durning, William Forsythe, Seymour Cassel, Mandy Patinkin, Catherine O’Hara, Ed O'Ross, James Caan, James Tolkan and Dick Van Dyke. Dick Tracy depicts the detective's romantic relationships with Breathless Mahoney and Tess Trueheart, as well as his conflicts with crime boss Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice and his henchmen. Tracy also begins fostering a young street urchin named Kid.

In 1938, at an illegal card game, a 10-year-old street urchin witnesses the massacre of a group of mobsters at the hands of Flattop and Itchy, two of the hoods on the payroll of Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice. Big Boy's crime syndicate is aggressively taking over small businesses in the city. Detective Dick Tracy catches the urchin (who calls himself "Kid") in an act of petty theft. After rescuing him from a ruthless host, Tracy temporarily adopts him with the help of his girlfriend, Tess Trueheart.

The original full name of the franchise is Pocket Monsters (ポケットモンスター, Poketto Monsutā), which was abbreviated to Pokemon during development of the original games.

Ash Ketchum, a young boy from Pallet Town, comes of age and gains the right to train Pokémon, hoping to achieve his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master; trainers receive their first Pokémon from Professor Oak, the town's foremost authority on researching Pokémon. Though Ash oversleeps and arrives late to Professor Oak's lab, he receives a Pikachu, who is initially uncooperative. On their way to Viridian City, Ash earns Pikachu's friendship by selflessly shielding him from a group of angry Spearow. While Pikachu's injuries are treated in Viridian City's Pokémon Center, Ash is confronted by Misty, a girl whose bike he desperately stole and wrecked in his attempt to escape the Spearow, so she declares that she will not leave Ash's side until she is properly compensated. Suddenly, a trio of criminals from the organization Team Rocket — Jessie, James, and Meowth — appear to steal Pokémon from the center. Pikachu overpowers them, which convinces the trio of his teamwork value and inspires numerous subsequent attempts to steal him. In order to compete in a Pokémon League tournament, Ash must defeat Gym Leaders and earn badges as evidence of his victories. Ash earns his first badge in Pewter City after battling with the Gym Leader Brock, who decides to venture with him. Together with Brock and Misty, Ash travels across the Kanto region, defeating Gym Leaders, collecting their badges, and capturing new Pokémon. After collecting all eight badges, Ash participates in the Indigo Plateau Conference, but he reaches the top 16 before losing to his friend Ritchie.

The anime is all in English dubbed except for some of the shorts. The shorts will be a mixture of episodes and promos released for the anime. These shorts are more of an extra that is included with the set and most were not released in the U.S. and that is why they are in Japanese. All episodes, movies and specials are only in English.


Disclaimer

The set has been tested on numerous players for DVD, Blu-Ray, Game Consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox 360) and Computers. All have worked great except for the Xbox Consoles (the previous two models Series X and the One models). I do not recommend the set to be used on the Xbox Consoles at all (there are issues with this console) but it works great on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

It is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from the series The Mandalorian, taking place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983). The Book of Boba Fett follows bounty hunter Boba Fett from The Mandalorian and other Star Wars media as he establishes himself as the new crime lord of Jabba the Hutt's former territory.

Mercenaries Boba Fett and Fennec Shand attempt to make a name for themselves in the galaxy's underworld by taking over the territory once controlled by Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. Fett calls upon the Mandalorian, Din Djarin, to help consolidate his power while Grogu trains with Luke Skywalker.
