Title: Demon Slayer is very amazing anime
Post by: WesWru on May 04, 2025, 12:49:32 AM
Since I recently started watching Demon Slayer and I'm still in the early episodes, one thing I keep wondering is how exactly the power system really works because while it looks visually stunning when Tanjiro uses Water Breathing and the animation shows these gorgeous flowing effects.

I'm confused about whether these elemental visuals are actually happening in the world or if they're symbolic representations of sword techniques, and as a new anime viewer I don't know if this kind of stylistic choice is common or unique to this show.

I also find myself curious about how demon abilities function because sometimes demons seem overwhelmingly powerful yet sometimes they're defeated in just one or two strikes, which makes me think I might not fully understand how strength is measured in this world or what determines whether a demon is considered high-ranking or weak, and I also wonder if the emotional elements—like Tanjiro's compassion toward demons—are supposed to be a major theme or if that's something that only matters early in the story, so I'm asking whether it's normal that I feel unsure about how all these pieces fit together and if I should expect a clearer explanation later about the hierarchy of demon slayers, the structure of the Demon Slayer Corps, and how each breathing style compares to the others, because right now I'm enjoying everything but I also feel like I'm missing some deeper meaning behind the way fighting works.
