Initial D
High school student Takumi Fujiwara works as a gas station attendant during the day and a delivery boy for his father's tofu shop during late nights. Little does he know that his precise driving skills and his father's modified Toyota Sprinter AE86 Trueno make him the best amateur road racer on Mt. Akina's highway. Because of this, racing groups from all over the Gunma prefecture issue challenges to Takumi to see if he really has what it takes to be a road legend.
Initial D: Second Stage
Following his victory over RedSuns leader Ryosuke Takahashi, AE86 driver Takumi Fujiwara is challenged by the Lancer EVO-based "Emperor," a group known for taking decals of racing teams they defeat, cutting them up and placing them on their cars like a fighter plane kill board. Takumi's undefeated streak is on the line as his AE86 is virtually no match against the more powerful and more agile four-wheel-drive EVOs of the Emperor team.
Initial D: Third Stage
A few months before graduating from high school, Takumi is approached by RedSuns leader Ryosuke Takahashi and offered to join him in forming an expeditionary racing team and challenge other teams outside the Gunma Prefecture. Before coming up with an answer to the proposal, Takumi seeks retribution by issuing a rematch to Emperor leader Kyouichi Sudou, who previously defeated him due to an engine failure. He is also challenged by Kai Kogashiwa, a second-generation street racer whose father was once a fierce rival of Takumi's father Bunta. Meanwhile, Natsuki tries to mend her friendship with Takumi during the Christmas season, but the situation goes wrong when her ex-boyfriend Miki returns to town.
Initial D: Fourth Stage
Takumi Fujiwara and brothers Keisuke and Ryousuke Takahashi have formed "Project D," a racing team aimed at bringing their driving skills to their full potential outside their prefecture. Using the internet, Project D issues challenges to other racing teams and posts results of their races. Managed by Ryousuke, the team has Takumi engaging in downhill battles with his AE86, while Keisuke challenges opponents uphill. Among their rivals are the Seven-Star Leaf (SSR) and Todo-juku. Meanwhile, Takumi is caught off-guard on Mount Akina when he encounters his father Bunta and his newly acquired Subaru Impreza WRX Type R Version V.
Initial D: Fifth Stage
Still working as part of the Project D driving team, Takumi Fujiwara and Keisuke Takahashi continue to challenge courses and teams in the Kanagawa Prefecture. Meanwhile, a young golf phenom catches Takumi's eye, and Ryousuke Takahashi settles a score from his past.
Initial D: Final Stage
Takumi and Keisuke of the gifted mountain racing team, Project D, face their toughest opponents yet as they race to conquer the Kanegawa area's finest racers and mountain roads. Takumi faces a young prodigy who drives a very familiar car.
Initial D: Battle Stage (OAV)
There are many street races in the Initial D Series. This OAV has no plot other than to collect all the street races into one stage. The dialog during the original races is left in.
Initial D: Battle Stage 2 (OAV)
This is simply the OAV summing up the major events and battles of "Initial D 4th Stage" much like the "Initial D Battle Stage" original summed up the first 3 seasons. Additionally, has 2 extra battles from the manga that were not incorperated into the original 4th Stage.
Initial D: Extra Stage (OAV)
The Lancer EVO-driving group "Emperor" have defeated every racing team they've met in the Gunma region. Now they're out to challenge the duo of Mako and Sayuki and their SilEighty - the Impact Blue of Usui Mountain.
Initial D: Extra Stage 2: Tabidachi no Green (OAV)
Itekani missed an oppertunity to see Mako-chan and hates himself for never calling to say he was sorry. By chance he runs into her 6 months later, and the situation is akward. Itekani does not have time to talk at the chance, but both want to talk, so they arrange a 2. meeting. Itekani goes to the meeting place early, but an old man was left behind from an tourist bus, and asks Itekani to catch the bus for him. Itekani being a nice guy, cant say no.
