The last episode has already witnessed his personal growth as he decided to compete with Deku healthily. However, Tomura Shigaraki’s counterattack has left fans wondering whether Bakugo will return. To add more tension, the mangaka Kohei Horikoshi shared an illustration of Bakugo on X on July 21. The post features the character in pain and worried expression.











His eyes are colored orange, adding a personal touch of creativity to the illustrator. While fans remain confused about whether he will return in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12, “Those Who Defend, Those Who Violate,” we have pleasant news for you. Bakugo will return, and the credit will go to Edgeshot. He will use his Quirk to repair Bakugo’s heart and lungs. The tension will rise as the villains rise, but Edgeshot will manage to heal Bakugo. However, it doesn’t seem like our Hero will take part in the upcoming battle. He might be shifted to the Academy’s infirmary room until he recovers.

The previous episode, My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11, began with a gruesome battle between Tomura Shigaraki and Katsuki Bakugo’s team of heroes. The final battle against the villains took an epic turn when all the heroes returned to risk their lives to save Japan. Hawks, Mirko, and Endeavor, all the top 10 pro heroes, coalited to stop the villains from creating more havoc. However, UA’s big three students, Tamaki Amajiki, Mirio Togata, and Nejire Hado, were missing. While the gang has made a buzz lately, their absence might affect the final battle.





However, Episode 11 had several great moments that captured the fans’ attention. While the battle was at its peak, that narration shifted to Tomura’s flashback. That finally revealed that Tomura was struggling with the identity crisis. That was because the frightened, vulnerable Tenko Shimua, who still adored pro heroes, was buried under Tomura Shigaraki’s persona. While Tomura’s inner battle continued, his horrific move left fans on edge. Tomura’s counterattack to defeat Bakugo was terrifying as he blasted the pro-hero’s heart, leaving him on the ground in a bloody heap. The episode then ended with rainclouds, hinting at Bakugo’s death.





My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12: Release Date











My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 was slated to air on July 27. However, the anime will be on a week’s break, so no more episodes will air this week. That’s because of the Olympics broadcast. According to the revised release schedule, the upcoming episode will air on August 3, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. JST. The series will return to its original Japanese broadcasting network, Nippon Television.
