Moments of peace and happiness are rare in this dark series full of murder and blood. At the end of the third season, things seem to be on the right track. The truth of the world is revealed, the last Titans of Paradise are slain, and the land outside the walls is ready for exploration.

The scouts go to the edge of the island and see the ocean for the first time, Armin and Eren's lifelong dream. Watching the Scouts splash around in the beautiful blue water is heartbreakingly pure, until Eren reveals the darkness of their situation. It was a good moment while it lasted.
