By the same token, many comics and superheroes receive training or magic from the East (like Doctor Strange's ancient hero, who comes from Tibet in the comics, and Batman and half of DC who receive training from Ra's Al Ghul's Arab League of Assassins) Or a million other things.

It's exotic and not taken too seriously.

Most Japanese people do not believe in Christianity. This means its story and themes are perfect for capturing something that feels "Western" and "supernatural" without making Japanese audiences uncomfortable.

There is a difference between religion and Satan. I hope you're not implying that anime is satanic, but let's look at my answer. This may be due to the ubiquity of demons as bad guys. If the devil exists, Satan must exist. There are also anime that twist this and have Satan or the devil be one of the good guys fighting other demons, like in High School DXD or Ao no Exorcist. Supernatural elements are also included, often allowing for the use of supernatural powers without much explanation. That is, can Rias destroy Hell? She is Satan's sister. There are also the androids from Fullmetal Alchemist, and an anime called The Seven Deadly Sins. In what might be a classic subversion of expectations, the hero is a man of questionable morals, the embodiment of mortal sin. Meanwhile, Full Metal Alchemist doesn't make sense for the Seven Deadly Sins title, but Brotherhood (the remake) does, as the big bad tries to get closer to God by erasing all his sins. It's a fun story, so I don't see any problems with it, including the religious element. Therefore, like rock, metal, and video games (especially DOOM), anime does not promote Satanism even if these elements are present. It just makes for a better and sometimes unexpected experience.

Why do most new anime have heavy satanic influences?
