The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes Collector’s Edition

Back during its theatrical release in cinemas, many of you fell in love with this Annecy award-winning adaptation of The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes, and now it’s finally time to relive all of the beauty and emotion of the film as we bring it to your home on DVD and Blu-ray!

“There is a phenomenon called the Urashima Tunnel, which exists outside the boundaries that constrain our reality. Unbound by such restrictions, it can achieve the otherwise impossible, journey wherever a mind can conceive, and bring the one thing that they most desire. We’ve gone for something a little special with our outer packaging for this one, enclosing our usual rigid slipcase presentation in a special o-card sleeve with a cut-out element to fully recreate the film’s main key visual, as you can see below.

The movie, which has been #1 in Japan’s box office for its first two weeks, will arrive in UK & Irish cinemas starting 15^th March

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Anime Limited are proud to announce the distribution of the highly anticipated Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- to UK & Irish cinemas. In the first-ever major collaboration between EVANGELION Series creator Hideaki Anno’s studio khara, and Sunrise, the historic home to the Mobile Suit Gundam animated works, the project brings together an all-star roster of top animation creatives who have created some of the most memorable and acclaimed anime works of the last 30 years. The movie has been a success in Japan being #1 in the box office for its first two weeks.

The film is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, known for his work with Anno on the EVANGELION series, as well as the original anime, FLCL. Yoji Enokido, screenwriter for such hits as Revolutionary Girl Utena, Bungo Stray Dogs, and the originalanime FLCL, is attached as Series Supervisor and Screenwriter, and is joined by the acclaimed Hideaki Anno for the screenplay. Illustrator Take (Katanagatari, Zaregoto, Pokemon Series) serves as character designer, with Ikuto Yamashita (EVANGELION Series, Shin Kamen Rider) as the mechanical designer. 

studio khara, famed for their work on the EVANGELION Series, joins forces with SUNRISE, the legendary studio behind the Mobile Suit Gundam Series, to create a film that is both visually stunning and narratively complex.

Synopsis

Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a girl named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit duelling sport known as Clan Battle. 

Under the entry name “Machu,” she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji. Now their world is about to enter a new era. 

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is thrilled to bring this extraordinary film to UK & Irish audiences. Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- will premiere on 15^th March 2025 and will be screened in select theatres. Fans of the Gundam Series, as well as newcomers, can both expect breathtaking animation, compelling storytelling, and cutting-edge mecha designs that push the boundaries of the genre. 

As part of the release a special preview screening will take place at BFI IMAX, the UK’s largest screen, on 13th March to celebrate the release with fans across London. This special preview, open to the public, will also see attendees receive an exclusive free sample trading card from the forthcoming Gundam Card Game TCG which launch on July 11th. Let’s start where we left things in our last newswire, by quickly confirming that our next volume of the original BLEACH will be landing in the UK this March, with pre-orders opening at the start of February, as you continue in your quest to fill that gorgeous first Collector’s Edition box! We’ve actually moved the date for this up a couple of days, because we’re as keen to get this into your hands as you are to own it!

This latest volume of the series contains episodes 84-111 across its four discs, contained within an Amaray case with O-card. As per previous volumes, our first print run contains an exclusive set of three art cards inside!

NARUTO Collector’s Edition Set 2

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Collector’s Edition

The hits just keep on coming, as next up we return to BLEACH, as it’s time for more of its latest iteration Thousand-Year Blood War on Blu-ray! We know you’re dying to see the next step in Ichigo Kurosaki’s journey, and now is the time to indulge yourself in “The Separation”.

The First Slam Dunk Collector’s Edition
